Romans 8:28

This verse is not saying that everything that happens in life is good, but it reveals that God has the power to bring good out of every situation. The believer’s confidence is not that we will never face challenges, disappointments, or difficult seasons, but that none of those things are greater than God’s wisdom, love, and ability to fulfill His purpose. The phrase “all things work together” shows that God sees the complete picture even when we only see a small part. Many experiences may not make sense while we are going through them, but God is able to use even the painful, confusing, and unexpected moments to shape us and move us toward His plan. Just as individual ingredients may not taste good alone but can become something wonderful when combined, God can take different seasons of our lives and bring out something meaningful through His grace. Paul also reminds us that this promise belongs “to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” God’s purpose is not simply to make our lives comfortable; it is to make us more like Christ and lead us into the destiny He has prepared for us. When our hearts are surrendered to Him, we can trust that He is actively working, even during the times when we cannot see immediate results. Delay does not mean God is absent, and difficulty does not mean His plan has failed. Therefore, we do not have to live controlled by fear, regret, or hopelessness. The same God who turned the cross—the darkest moment in history—into the greatest victory can also work through the situations we face today. Our responsibility is to keep loving Him, trusting Him, and walking in His purpose. What the enemy intended for harm, God is able to transform for good. In His hands, nothing is wasted, and every chapter of our lives can become part of His greater story.
